Director of Curriculum and Instruction
|The Department of Curriculum and Instruction is responsible for the development, implementation, and assessment of all subject matter. Gifted services, Instructional technology, educational media, textbook and instructional resource purchases, staff development, CIP, CCIP and federal programs are also under the umbrella of this department. The District Science Fair, District Spelling Bee, and Project Lead the Way (PLTW) are coordinated by the Department of Curriculum and Instruction.
2017 Solar Eclipse
There will be a solar eclipse of the sun on August 21, 2017. The duration of the eclipse is approximately 2 hours and 49 minutes. The partial solar eclipse will start on Monday, August 21st at 1:02 PM and end 3:51 PM. The Curriculum and Instruction department has collected several electronic resources to assist families with learning more about this event by means of research and engaging home activities.
