MVCTC SOPHOMORE CAREER DAYS
As a result of COVID, Sophomores will NOT visit MVCTC for career day in December.
Please visit MVCTC's website HERE for more information about their programs, enrollment process, FAQ's, sign up for updates and other additional information. MVCTC will also be hosting virtual information sessions where students can learn more about MVCTC, meet instructors, hear from students and ask questions. Students and parents may also request an individual zoom meeting HERE. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to your student's counselor.
AP TESTING INFORMATION
Please click HERE for the AP Exam Registration Sheet. The cost of each AP test is $95. The minimum nonrefundable deposit of $48 for each exam is due at the time of registration. Deposits are due by November 13th at 2 pm. If you are approved for free and reduced lunch, then you do not have to pay a fee. The State of Ohio Department of Education is paying for your AP exam testing for the 20-21 school year. If you have any questions, please email Ms. Coaston at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Wayne High School will be offering the PSAT to interested students. The PSAT test will take place on Tuesday, January 26th, 2021. This date has been added only for the 2020-2021 school year due to COVID19 pandemic concerns and procedures. The January administration will have the same benefits as the October PSAT/NMSQT, including eligibility for programs administered by National Merit Scholarship Corporation. SIGN IN PROCEDURE TO SEE A COUNSELOR
Students who wish to sign up to see their counselor must do so using the Counselor Sign Up google form at Goo.gl/zeMqBi. Students may use any device (phone, school/home/work computer), at anytime, however the student MUST be signed into their school Google account in order to use the form. If the student does not know their school email/password, please contact Ms. Ross in room E111.
SINCLAIR COLLEGE CREDIT PLUS - BOOK INFORMATION
Textbooks can be ordered through Sinclair’s online bookstore at https://sinclair.ecampus.com/ Books will be sent directly to your home and the cost is covered by the district. The district will only cover the cost of materials that are REQUIRED for the class. Wayne High School will NO LONGER carry an inventory of textbooks. Books may not be ordered until 10 days before the start of the semester. ALL materials purchased by the district MUST be turned into Mrs. Gore in B113 at the end of the semester or if you drop a class to avoid any fees.
COLLEGE CREDIT PLUS INFORMATION - School Year 2020-2021
If a student fails a CCP course or withdraws from the course AFTER the refund date, the student/parent(s) will be responsible for all costs associated with the course. Courses are charged $41.64 per credit hour. (Example: ENG 1101 is 3 credit hours. Student fails or withdraws after the refund date, therefore, $124.92 will be added to the student's fees.) Please monitor your CCP institution's calendar for the the drop date with a refund if you plan on dropping a class. Any books, computer programs or other materials purchased for the course by the district MUST be returned to Mrs. Gore, CCP Coordinator, if the student withdraws from the course or when the semester is completed.
