Rushmore Elementary

Principal's Message

Benjamin Ayers
Mr.

Hello Rushmore Families,

My name is Ben Ayers and I am honored to be the new principal of Rushmore Elementary.  The mission of Huber Heights City Schools is “Empowering our students to be academically and socially prepared for their futures through the support of excellent teachers, staff, families, and community partners.”  It is my goal to ensure that the students of Rushmore attend a safe and welcoming learning environment that allows this mission to become a reality.

I have spent all 12 years of my education career serving the students of Huber Heights City Schools.  I taught 5th grade math for seven years and 4th grade math for two years at Monticello Elementary.  I then had the opportunity to work at Wright Brothers Elementary as the building Teacher on Special Assignment for one year.  The past two years, I have worked as a Teacher on Special Assignment for the Curriculum and Instruction Department with my primary focus as a support/coach for K-8 mathematics.

The staff of Rushmore is excited to partner will the families and community partners of Rushmore to make this year a success. We are privileged to serve the students of Rushmore, and look forward to the opportunity to provide a quality education for your children.

If you ever have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the office at 937-237-6365.
