March 2, 2020 – Pamela Bitsko-Krach has been named principal for Charles Huber Elementary School. Her appointment was approved during the February Board of Education meeting.
Bitsko-Krach will assume her new role starting Aug. 1. “I’m honored to continue the next step in my career to support our students, staff and families,” she said about her new appointment.
Bitsko-Krach previously served as principal at Studebaker Preschool and Primary Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction for the past three years. Prior to that, she was a fifth grade teacher at Valley Forge Elementary School for 21 years. Bitsko-Krach is also an active member of the Huber Heights Early Readiness Coalition which works with other preschools and child care centers in the city to promote kindergarten readiness.
Tamara Granata, the outgoing Charles Huber Elementary School principal, was appointed as a fourth grade teacher at Monticello Elementary School during the Board of Education meeting. The district would like to thank her for all of her leadership and dedication during her eight years as principal.
The district is also in the process of recruiting and interviewing principals for Wayne High School, Weisenborn Junior High School, Wright Brothers Elementary School and Studebaker Preschool. Those appointments will be announced at a later date.
