Self Sign Up for HHCS

Self Sign Up for Huber Heights City Schools (HHCS) is now available. Self Sign Up is for community members who are not the parent/guardian of a current student or a HHCS staff member. HHCS staff and parents/guardians do not need to sign up because they can change their notification settings in the Preferences section of their SchoolMessenger accounts.

 

This is a free subscription service that sends district news and other important information via phone, email, or text. Once registered, community members can select to receive updates from the Warrior Weekly newsletter, Wayne Athletics, Theatre Department, and more to come in the future. Community members can also download the SchoolMessenger app on Google Play or the Apple App Store for easy, on-the-go access to managing their account settings and notification preferences.

Steps for setting up your account:

  1. Enter the following URL into your web browser:

  1. Click the Sign Up Now link near the bottom of the page.

 

  1. You will be taken to the Sign Up page where you will need to confirm the encrypted image, your name, a valid email address and a password. You’ll use your email address and the password you enter here to sign in later. Review and accept the Terms of Service.  Click Create Account when you are done.

  1. Check your email. There will be an Account Activation email from noreply@accounts.schoolmessenger.com with the subject Account Activation, which contains a link to activate your account; activation codes are valid for 24 hours. This link will take you to a confirmation page where you must enter your password in order to activate your account.

 

  1. Once you’ve activated your account, you’re ready to select your notification preferences.

 

  1. Simply select the type(s) of notifications you wish to receive and the groups to which you belong.

 

  1. When you have finished making selections click Save.

 

  1. Follow the instructions to add additional contact information, such as additional email and phone numbers, to your account.
